Thank you so much for agreeing to do this with me!
Amanda: Thank you so much for having me! I’m honored!
How old were you when you first started to write?
Amanda: I always wrote – I think I decided to be a writer when I first started reading those little plastic-covered books in kindergarten. I got serious about learning the industry in high school.
How long did it take for you to write “Such a Good Girl” and “Secrets, Lies and Scandals”?
Amanda: It actually took me months and months to outline them, but not a very long time to write them at all – maybe two or three months. I outline things very thoroughly so the writing comes pretty easily. I’d say I spent about a year on each, but don’t hold me to that! I’m sure I’ve given different answers. Time is funny when you’re writing – it seems very long or very short depending on how the writing is going.
If you could go back in time to before you became an author what would you tell your younger self about being an author?
Amanda: It’s harder and easier than you think, and it’s not as life changing as you imagine.
Do you have any upcoming books, if so, what can you share about them?
Amanda: Five Little Liars is the UK version of Secrets, Lies, and Scandals, and will be released in the UK a little later this month.
If you had to go back in time and be quarantined with one of your characters who would it be and why?
Amanda: I would be quarantined with Mattie. He’s the heart of Secrets, Lies, and Scandals.
Thank you so much for doing this with me!
Amanda: Thank you again for having me! It was so much fun!

This spine-tingling read includes two twist-filled thrillers by Amanda K. Morgan—Secrets, Lies, and Scandals and Such a Good Girl—in one heart-pounding collection!
In Secrets, Lies, and Scandals, nothing ruins summer vacation like a secret—especially when it involves a dead teacher. When five teens find themselves with a dead body and no answers, they decide to make a pact to keep it a secret. With the police hot on the case, they don’t have much time to figure out how to trust each other. And one member of the group may decide the best way to protect themselves is to make sure someone else is found guilty…
In Such a Good Girl, Riley Stone is just about perfect. (Ask anyone.) She has a crush on her French teacher, Alex Belrose. (And she suspects he likes her, too.) Riley doesn’t usually play games. (But when she does, she always wins.) She thinks a game with her teacher is about to start. Riley always has a plan…and she always wins.
Will these teens come out on top, or will their tangled webs of deception and intrigue pull them under?
