Today on the blog I have an interview with the amazing Jessi from bibliojessi!!
Gryffindor Books: Jessi! Thank you so much for agreeing to do this with me!! You’re such a beautiful human!
Jessi: thank you!
Gryffindor Books: Let’s start off with an easy question! What is your Hogwarts House? What is your Ilvermorny House?
Jessi: hogwarts: hufflepuff! Ilvermorny: Pukwudgie (though I still need to learn more about what that means exactly)
Gryffindor Books: What or who got you into reading? How old were you?
Jessi: the earliest chapter books I remember loving were the Penderwicks books! I was about 10.
Gryffindor Books: When you were growing up which fictional characters did you relate to? Which character do you relate to now?
Jessi: I can’t remember when I was younger, but now I definitely relate to grace from how to make a wish.
Gryffindor Books: Which format do you prefer to read? Hardcover, Paperback, Audiobook or eBook?
Jessi: I like both hardback or paperback! It’s true that it’s easier to hold paperback, but I’m fine with either. I also like the occasional audiobook if it has a good narrator.
Gryffindor Books: If you were trapped on an island with a book series and the author of that book series which one would it be and why?
Jessi: I suppose Suzanne Collins & the hunger games? I’m sure she’s got some ideas on survival tactics.
Gryffindor Books: If you could live with one Author or Book Tuber who would it be and why?
Jessi: That’s gotta be my fave, Ashley Herring Blake. I feel like I’d ask her so many questions and learn a lot about writing.
Gryffindor Books: Do you have any tips to start reading more books?
Jessi: Go to a library or bookstore and tell the workers what you like! I know it can be hard to talk to strangers but booksellers and librarians LIVE for helping you find books that you’ll love.
Gryffindor Books: When did you start your blog and how has it changed your life?
Jessi: I started my blog about one year ago. It’s introduced me to so many books I may never had heard of if it weren’t for the blogging community.
Gryffindor Books: If you could have dinner with one author who would it be and why?
Jessi: Angie Thomas! She has a smile that lights up the whole room and I bet she would be awesome to talk to over dinner.
